2018 CKF Triple Bypass
EVENT DATE: Jul 14, 2018
The Triple Bypass bike ride covers over 120 miles and 10,000 feet elevation gain. In. One. Day! Starting out in Evergreen, we'll head west and up -- over Squaw/Juniper Pass (11,140 ft.), over Loveland Pass (11,990 ft.), over Swan Mountain and over Vail Pass (10,560 ft) -- finishing in Avon.
Our team is made up of people of all types -- a 2016 heart transplant recipient, a 2000 liver transplant recipient (who won a bronze medal in the 2002 Olympics!), the husband of a liver transplant recipient over 20 years ago, and at least half dozen others who care deeply about this cause and are willing to train, ride the Triple Bypass, and raise money for Chris Klug Foundation! This is a wonderful opportunity to show the quality of life a transplant recipient can lead!
Over 100,000 Americans are waiting for a transplant, and far too many won't get a 2nd chance at life, as their donor isn't found in time. Chris Klug Foundation does amazing work advocating for organ and tissue donation, and I'm thrilled to once again help raise money for them! Together we can shorten the waiting time for an organ, and give more people a 2nd chance before it's too late. Please choose a rider below and make any donation you are comfortable with!
